The orientation session for Spring Semester 2023 was held on Monday, February 6, 2023. The members of the student body helped facilitate the event and ensured smooth functioning. The programme commenced with the national anthem. Recitation and translation from the Holy Quran was conducted by Hafiz Abdul Ahad, student of TS 1A and the translation was done by Suhaib Ullah Hassam of TMM 2A.

The event was attended by the President, Dean, Department Heads, faculty members along with new inductees with their parents.

Mr. Humayun Zafar, President, TIP welcomed the new students with enthusiasm and highlighted the importance of the students’ passion towards their studies as they represent Pakistan and are the future this nation awaits. He highlighted the trends of the textile industry in Pakistan and gave a thorough rundown of the expectations the Institute requires from the new students. He asked the students to set high standards, envision their goals, and perform tasks to the best of their abilities.

Dr. Abdul Jabbar, Dean, TIP reiterated the importance of punctuality and embodying a positive attitude towards studies and future endeavors.

The volunteers gave the new students a full tour of the campus. The volunteers included Saad Bin Sohail (TS 4A), Amos Johnson (TDT 2A), Hafiz Muhammad Muqsit (TMM 2A), Mohmmad Essa Memon (AMM 4A), Syed Talat Hussain Shah Naqvi (IMM 2A), Umair Hassan (TS 1A), Bilal Mehmood (TS 2A), Muhammad Ahmad Khan (TMM 2A), and last but not the least Ghulam Mustafa and Abde Munaf Mustafa Jorbai who did the photography
