TIP Launches Its First Regional Alumni Outreach Chapter – Lahore
The Textile Institute of Pakistan (TIP) is proud to announce the establishment of its first Regional Alumni Outreach Chapter – Lahore, marking an important milestone in strengthening alumni engagement and expanding the Institute's presence beyond its campus.
The chapter has been established through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mr. Sarim Mehmood (Batch 2010), Founder & CEO of Fruit of Sustainability, who will serve as the Regional Alumni Outreach Chapter Lead – Lahore. This initiative reflects TIP's commitment to building stronger relationships with its alumni while creating meaningful opportunities for outreach, industry collaboration and community engagement.
About the Regional Alumni Outreach Chapters
The Regional Alumni Outreach Chapters are alumni-led, voluntary platforms established to strengthen connections between TIP, its graduates, prospective students and industry stakeholders across different regions.
Working closely with the Institute, these chapters will support initiatives such as:
- Alumni networking and engagement
- Student outreach and admissions awareness
- Industry-academia collaboration
- Professional networking opportunities
- Mentorship and career guidance
- Community-building initiatives that strengthen the TIP alumni network
Each chapter operates in collaboration with TIP and supports the Institute's vision while promoting its values and strategic priorities within its respective region.
TIP Regional Alumni Outreach Chapter – Lahore
As TIP's first Regional Alumni Outreach Chapter, the Lahore Chapter will serve as a platform to connect alumni across Punjab, strengthen relationships with industry, promote the Institute within the region and support prospective students interested in pursuing higher education at TIP.
The Chapter will facilitate alumni networking events, outreach initiatives, industry engagement activities, mentoring opportunities and collaborative programmes that contribute to the continued growth and visibility of the Textile Institute of Pakistan.
Mr. Sarim Mehmood
As the Chapter Lead, Mr. Sarim Mehmood will serve as the focal person for alumni engagement, outreach initiatives, networking activities and industry collaboration within the Lahore region. Alumni interested in becoming involved with the chapter, participating in future activities or supporting TIP's outreach efforts are encouraged to connect with him.
