Textile Institute Debate Competition (TIDC) 2017

Textile Institute of Pakistan is pleased to announce that it is organizing an Urdu debate competition 2017. The guests for the event are Mr. Mubashir Zaidi, the JANG columnist and Mr.Abdul Rehman, a poet and a career counselor.

The major goal of the debate as a method or art is to develop the ability to debate rationally from either position with equal ease. Although the quality and depth of a debate improves with knowledge and skill of its participants as debaters. The outcome of a contest will be decided by judges.
The program will be hosted by Saad Memon from AMM 1.There are two topics and twenty participants. Each participant will be given three minutes to speak on his topic.
The topics are as follows:

1. Kehtey hain jisko ishq, khalal hai demagh ka.
2. Hum zinda qoum hain.

The show will come to an end with felicitation of the winners and the Chief Guest’s address for the occasion. Winners and participants will be awarded with cash prizes, certificates and shields.
